Eggler Consulting Engineers launches Tactical Mobile Communications Technology training courses

Eggler Consulting Engineers is delighted to announce the launch of its Tactical Mobile Communications Technology for Military Vehicle courses.  The new courses provide governments and defence industry with access to expert training in modern tactical mobile data communications technologies used in military vehicles.  Any of the one, three of five day specialist courses can be easily accessed by attending a regular public offering or by arranging in-house training. These intensive courses provide essential information relating to mobile tactical data networks, VHF/UHF/ SATCOM radio performance, achieving communications on-the-move, internetworking, EMC/EMI and radio installation.  All courses are delivered by recognised military communications engineering experts and explore in detail the application of this technology as it applies to modern military vehicles.

Eggler to deliver presentation to the Engineers Australia’s (Mechanical Engingeering College) on Wednesday, 24 July

Mark Eggler will deliver a presentation to Engineers Australia about some of the more interesting engineering aspects encountered in the design of modern armoured fighting vehicles. Issues to be covered include mobility-protection-firepower design trade-offs, unique application of engine and transmission technology and amphibious vehicle design issues. The presentation will be delivered at Engineering House, 11 National Circuit, Barton, ACT.

$1.5b contract signed for Land 121 Phase 3B with RMMVA

Rheinmetall-MAN Military Vehicles (Australia) and the Defence Material Organisation signed a contract on 23 July 2013 for the delivery approximately 2500 new generation, high mobility trucks for the Australian Army.  Eggler Consulting Engineers is delighted with the success of RMMVA and proud to have been able to provide high quality consulting engineering services to RMMVA during the tender and negotiation activities leading up to contract signature.  Mark Eggler announced ‘that this is an outstanding achievement and Eggler looks forward to continuing to provide high quality, professional military vehicle engineering services to RMMVA during the design and development phases of the contract’.

Eggler Consulting Engineers engaged by the University of New South Wales to delivery undergraduate engineering course in Land Vehicle technology

Eggler Consulting Engineers is delighted to announce that it has been engaged for a third consecutive year by the University of New South Wales (Australian Defence Force Academy campus) to deliver the Land Vehicles and Weapons course as part of the undergraduate engineering program. The course, which was successfully delivered in 2011, provides students with a solid grounding in the fundamental engineering science and technology underpinning the design of modern military vehicles.
