Mark Eggler’s Contribution Recognised in Australian Strategic Policy Institute’s ‘The Bushmaster: From Concept to Combat’

Brendan Nicholson (Australian Strategic Policy Institute) has written a superb and gripping historical account about the development and operational success of the Australian Bushmaster vehicle. Over the course of 100+ pages, Nicolson in ‘The Bushmaster: From Concept to Combat‘ lays bare the vehicle’s troubled beginnings in the early 2000s through to its operational successes over the next 15 years. With zero Australia soldiers being killed during operational IED events involving the Bushmaster vehicle, it’s clear that Australia has designed, developed and deployed the world’s best mine resistant ambush protected vehicle. Eggler invites you to read Nicoloson’s excellent account and the role of Mark Eggler in the development of the Australian Bushmaster vehicle.  His story starts on page 31.
