Register For Diploma

1.  Acceptance into a Diploma program is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein, payment of the tuition fee, agreement to the Academic Code of Conduct and submission of proof that a student meets the Diploma entry requirements.

2. Following receipt of the Diploma Enrollment Form and payment of the tuition fee in full, EIT will issue you a Diploma Joining Instruction with further details about other course educational and administrative requirements..

3. Enrolled students have 16 weeks from the commencement of the course to complete all the mandated assessment task. Extensions to complete the Diploma will are only granted in accoradance with the Diploma Joining Instruction.

4. Tuition fees must be paid in USD and prior to commencement of the Diploma program. Payment methods are Electronic Funds Transfer or credit card. Cheques are not accepted. Payments by credit cards incur a 2.7% charge to the standard Diploma fee.

5. Enrollments accepted and paid for less than 28 days prior to commencement of a class-based or in-house Diploma program are non-refundable. Withdrawals more than 28 days prior to the commencement of a class-based or in-house Diploma will be fully refunded within 7 days of receiving written notification. For student enrolled in the online Diploma, no refunds are available after access has been provided to the EIT e-Learning portal.

6. An enrolled student may be substituted prior to commencing a class-based or in-house delivered Diploma course subject to meeting the Diploma entry requirements and payment of a USD $300 transfer fee.

7. Withdrawal or transfers must be in writing by email, fax or letter.

8. The required textbooks for the Diploma program are:

• “Theory of Ground Vehicles,” 4th Edition, by J.Y Wong, 2009.
• “Terramechanics and Off-Road Vehicle Engineering”, 2nd Edition, by J.Y Wong, 2010.  

Both textbooks need to be purchased individually by students prior to course commencement.  The course fee does not include mandated textbooks required during the course.

 

9. If EIT cancels a Diploma course, a full refund of course fees will apply (less PayPal fees if paid by credit card).
